A new form of lie
detector called Psychological Stress Analyzer has been introduced in Britain. This
new technology works just as other type of detector but contain one component
that is caused by vibration of the muscles inside the mouth and throat. It
added a clearly noticeable frequency modulated component to the voice. But PSE
can only show stress not dishonesty and has it own standard in reporting. In
cons the wide use of this device for pre-employment interview is extremely
disquieting even though it is not foolproof. This detector should be prevented
before they become wide spread.

Paragraph -
Childhood memories are special for everyone. I have a very happy memory
of my childhood and always reminisce it with nostalgia. I was born and
brought up in a small family which included my mother, father, and my little sister. I have very fond memories of us sisters playing in our
backyard, climbing trees to pluck fruits, going to parks and beaches and
enjoying life in general. My father was a government servant and my
mother a housewife. Of all the memories, one particular memory is very
important and taught me the importance of saving money. One day, my sister was suddenly taken ill. She had to be hospitalized
and the doctors advised us that she needed an emergency surgery. The
surgery was very costly. My father did not earn a very high salary and
it was very difficult for us to raise that amount of money suddenly.
Luckily, my father and mother had a habit of saving small amount of
money regularly. This money was not touched but kept aside in case of
emergencies. This amount turned out to be the exact amount required for
the surgery and recuperation of my sister. We were helped by the good habit of saving practiced by my parents.
Before this incident, I was a spendthrift and use to spend all of my
pocket money. This incident changed my way of thinking. I started to
save even a little bit from my pocket money. I took to heart the saying,
"Little drops of water makes the mighty ocean." Till today, I save
money in whatever way I can.

UFS 211 - Blog 6: What are the common mistakes that you always do in writing? Do you find writing in English is difficult? What kind of problem do you face when you start writing? What are your suggestions to overcome the problem? Discuss.
What are the common mistakes that I always do in writing? I have no idea what are my common mistakes that i usual do when I was writing, I just write everything that passed my mind. Do I find writing in English is difficult? I didn't find writing in English is difficult but I also didn't find that writing in English is easy because I do have problems with the proper words that sometimes I have in mind but hard to translate it to English. That's really irritates me sometimes cause I have to make myself go search for Internets and i hated it where I was in the non Internet access in that place and I was forced to open the dictionary. What kind of problem do I face when I start writing? I sometimes faced a lot of problems, especially I was forced to write something when I have no inspiration to write at all. I will write nonsense and repeated the same point that I have write before and worse of all my sentences will matches the primary school sentences. What are my suggestions to overcome the problem? My suggestion is try to read more English books whether it is fiction or non-fiction so that we can gain more ideas, inspiration, and imagination from the book that we have read.

UFS 211 - Blog 5: Write a paragraph about a topic on "Water Pollution" and come out with the approtiate Topic Sentences, Supporting Sentences & Concluding Sentences with the linkers used in the paragraph.
Water pollution can come from several different sources. If the pollution comes from a single source, such as oil spills, it is called point source pollution. If the pollution comes from many sources, it is called non-point source pollution. Most types of pollution affect the immediate area around the source. Sometimes the pollution may affect the environment hundreds of miles away from the source, such as nuclear waste, this is called cross-border pollution. Almost all types of water pollution are harmful to human and animal health. Water pollution may not damage our health immediately but can be harmful after long term exposure. Various forms of pollution affect the health of animals in different ways such as organic matter and nutrients causes an increase in aerobic algae and depleted oxygen from the water column. This causes the suffocation of fish and other aquatic organisms. Sulphate particles from acid rain can cause harm the health of marine life in the rivers and lakes it contaminates, and can result in death. If you want to help keep our waters clean, there are many things you can do to help. You can prevent water pollution of nearby rivers and lakes as well as groundwater and drinking such as conserve water by turning off the tap when the water flow is not necessary, this helps prevent water shortages and reduces the amount of contaminated water that needs treatment. Be careful about what you throw into the sink or your toilet. Do not throw paints, oils or other forms of litter down the drain. Use the environment, household products such as washing powder, household cleaning agents and toiletries. Take care not large excess pesticides and fertilizers, this will prevent spillage of material into nearby water sources. By having more plants in your garden, you are preventing fertilizer, pesticides and contaminated water from running into nearby water sources. Do not throw garbage into rivers, lakes or oceans. Help clean up any litter you see on beaches or in rivers and lakes, make sure it is safe to collect the litter and put it into the trash bin nearby.

supporting sentences
- This picture is always in my house when I was growing up. Years later when I got married and moved to Montreal, my mother gave it to me so that I would always remember her. Now, it sits on my table next to my bed. I look at it and, imagine my mother’s life on that day. I think she was excited because her eyes are shining with happiness. Her smile is shy as if she were thinking about a secret. She is standing next to rose bush, and the roses are taller than she is. She is wearing a beautiful white lace dress and black shoes. Her hair is long and curly. She looks lovely in this peaceful place, and I feel calm when I gaze into her eyes at the end of my busy day.
